Cancer of the cervix


Cervical cancer is a malignancy that occurs and cell comes from the uterus . almost all cervical cancer is caused by infection " pepilloma human virus ( HPV ) or virus pailloma in humans . virus is relatively small and can only be seen by means of electron microscopy . there are several types of HPV that can cause cancer are types 16 and 18 as well as the type of 31 , 33 , 45 and others .


How occurrence of HPV infection and cervical cancer :

- Nearly 100 % of HPV infections in sexually transmitted channeled through

- People with HPV infections do not generally have a complaint or symptom

-1 Out of 10 people infected women of cervical cancer will undergo epithelial cells of the cervix change into dysplasia .

- If dysplasia is not treated within 3-17 years can develop into cervical cancer


anyone who may have contracted cervical cancer :

- Women who engage in sexual activity before the age of 18 years

- Those who change sexual partners

- those who suffer from genital infection is transmitted through sexual intercourse

- Having sex with a man who frequently change partners sekaual .

- Mother or sibling who suffered from cervical cancer
- Active or passive smoking
- Decreased immune
